The Unveiling Of The ELAC ConneX DCB41 Speakers.
ELAC returns to the market with the ConneX DCB41 speakers. After the ELAC Miracord 80 turntable’s release in early October, we have a new release from the German manufacturer. So what’s in the ConneX DCB41 speakers? Here’s what we know.
The ELAC ConneX DCB41 Speakers
The new ConneX DCB41 active speaker pair from ELAC acts as an almost complete hi-fi system. It offers HDMI eARC with CEC, analog RCA/phono, digital optical, and USB (resolutions up to 96 kHz / 24 bit) on the input side. All inputs are located on the active speaker of the system, which also carries a speaker output through which it supplies its passive partner. In addition, you can control the ConneX DCB41 via Bluetooth (AptX) and also carry a subwoofer output.
To improve the sound, the new ELAC speakers carry, among other things, a tweeter with waveguide, as well as a long-throw woofer, which aims to promise a powerful and precise sound. Furthermore, the rear-facing bass reflex tube is folded and is thus said to offer minimal ventilation noise.
ELAC’s ConneX DCB41 powered speakers will be available from November 2022, including removable covers and remote control.
Price Of The ELAC ConneX DCB41 Speakers
Available in black, walnut, orange, or blue, the compact speakers come with an MSRP of around €530 per “set,” consisting of one active and one passive speaker.
