The Audio-Technica’s ATH-TWX9 earphones offer you the freedom to customize your sound space for an advanced audio experience. Audio-Technica has been on a roll this month with back-to-back releases. At the beginning of the month, we received the ATH-WB2022 wooden wireless headphones as part of their 60th anniversary.

Honestly, the new ATH-TWX9 earphones are looking insane. Here’s everything we know about this new release.

The ATH-TWX9 Earphones

The ATH-TWX9 are noise-canceling earbuds that also boast an IPX4 splashproof rating and a total of 18.5 hours of battery life, including the charging case. According to Audio-Technica, these headphones create an immersive audio experience and feature digital hybrid noise-canceling technology.

Here are the key things we look forward to: deep-UV sterilization, 360 Reality Audio for a realistic 3D sound stage, and Snapdragon Sound™ platform for higher quality music, video, and calls.

But there’s one feature that really sets these earphones apart from the rest. They come with a charging case that gives the buds 70 seconds of UV sterilization each time you return them to the case, eliminating bacteria and viruses from the surface.

The new self-cleaning buds connect via Bluetooth 5.2 and are Sony’s 360 Reality Audio certified. Furthermore, they have a low latency mode for when you’re playing games or watching movies. You also get multipoint support for two simultaneous Bluetooth connections, and they support Alexa and Google Assistant.

Not only that, but the newly designed 5.8 mm high-resolution drivers deliver an extended high-frequency range and improved sound detail – perfect for use with the advanced Qualcomm® Snapdragon Sound™, Qualcomm® aptX™ Adaptive audio, and Sony 360 Reality Audio technologies.

They also support Qi charging.

Price Of The Audio-Technica ATH-TWX9 Earphones

The ATH-TWX9 retails at £279.99/ €319. They are available now in Japanese Black with dark bronze accents and come bundled with twelve different earbud sizes.
