Elipson Released The XLS11
French audio company Elipson launched the XLS11 Loudspeaker.
In June, Elipson graced us with the Reference Series, and now we see more of the promises from the High End 2022 Show. The XLS11 is an addition to the Elipson Heritage Series. So what should you expect from this new release?
The Elipson XLS11
The XLS11 is the latest addition to the Heritage Series. It follows the XLS15. Together, they create a duo of speakers representing the vintage-styled design many audiophiles prefer to own.
The XLS11 features a brand new 2.2-inch domed drive unit for the midrange, with a 0.87-inch silk dome tweeter derived from Elipson’s famous flagship Prestige taking care of the highs.
The driver contingent is rounded off by a new 8-inch, an evolution of the XLS15’s 12-inch woofer. The woofer is further augmented by a flared front-firing port tuned at 37 Hz.
The crossovers are staged at 850 and 5000 Hz (12dB/12dB-12dB/18dB).
It comes with a dedicated stand designed to position the speaker at the optimal height and angle to give perfect acoustic phasing at an additional cost.
The Price Of The Elipson XLS11
The Elipson XLS11 loudspeakers retail at £1,499.99 per pair. The optional stands cost £249.99 per pair.
