The ISE 2022 Product Debuts
The ISE 2022 Product Debuts
The 2022 Integrated Systems Europe Event, ISE, kicked off today in Barcelona, Spain. The event starts on May 10th and ends on May 13th, but the upcoming product announcements excite us about the ISE. Let’s take a look at some of them.
1. Focal’s 300 ICA6 Angled In-Ceiling Loudspeaker
Focal’s 300 ICA6 is our first exciting product debut at the ISE 2022 in Barcelona.
Focal announced its new product, the 300 ICA6 loudspeaker. The 300 ICA6 is an in-ceiling/in-wall loudspeaker fitted with a speaker driver.
The speaker is part of Focal’s 300 series.
It’s angled at 35°, which makes it perfectly adjustable to suit the position you are listening from. You can use it in a stereo system or Home Cinema setup with Dolby Atmos® effects.
You can expect it to deliver sound discreetly and a quick installation process thanks to its patented Easy Quick Install technology.
You can find more information about the 300 ICA6 here.
2. Storm Audio’s ISP Elite MK3
The second most exciting announcement at the ISE 2022 is Storm Audio’s ISP Elite MK3.
The Elite MK3 is an upgrade to the award-winning ISP MK2 model. You can look forward to a 24ch decoding and upmixing of the most desired immersive surround formats, such as Dolby Atmos, DTS:X Pro, Auro-3D, and IMAX Enhanced.
There is also up to 32ch of post-processing, including the latest Dirac Live Bass Control module for multiple subwoofers and the state-of-art StormAudio Expert Bass Management with its multiple bass zones definition and selective bass routing.
The ISP Elite MK3 will provide the best sound performance in any theatre without the installer needing to be an expert in room acoustics.
You can find more information about the Elite MK3 here.
Storm Audio’s 4.3 Firmware Update
StormAudio is also updating its platform with a 4.3r0 firmware update. You can look forward to the addition of the HDMI Matrix function.
The update will allow different ways to use the second HDMI port available in any ISP equipped with the HDMI 7+2 eARC board co-developed with Cypress Technologies.
You get two new multi-room modes – Zone2 AV and Pass-Through. These will be selectable and offer the possibility of linking a second HDMI output to a defined Audio Video Zone and the ability to connect the second HDMI output to another processor or TV set.
The new update also supports Auto Lipsync. Now you can automatically adjust the Audio Video delay to ensure perfect lipsync.
