Pro-Ject’s Amp Box S3 Is Now Available
Austrian audio company Pro-Ject unveiled the Amp Box S3.
Earlier this year, the Austrian company graced us with their newest turntable line, the E1 series. Now, we Pro-Ject fans or enthusiasts (whichever you fall) can look forward to the newest addition to the Amp Box family.
Here’s what you need to know about the Amp Box S3.
The Pro-Ject Amp Box S3
The S2 and S3 may have the same size, but their performance and power levels are vastly different. The S3 offers a new PCB concept with an improved topology that delivers less noise and a better signal-to-noise ratio.
The S3 also comes with an aluminum housing that carries RCA inputs, speaker terminals, and trigger connections for bi- or tri-amping. According to Pro-Ject, the aluminum housing reduces vibrations.
Pro-Ject recommends using the S3 in a desktop setup, for in-/on-wall speakers, or for small rooms up to a size of 15m2.
Price Of The Pro-Ject Amp Box S3
The S3 retails at €300 and comes in silver or black.
