Advance Paris’ Four New Releases
French Audio company Advance Paris debuted two new amps and two CD players.
Advance Paris debut two new amps: a preamplifier and an amplifier. The X-A600 and the X-P700. Advance Paris is on a product release spree, we can’t forget the streaming products that dropped earlier this year.
Let’s take a look at what they have to offer today.
The X-A600 (The Power Amplifier)
Advance Paris shares that it offers 200 watts per channel into 8 ohms and weighs around 30 kg. You can also expect a strong transformer and electrolytic capacitors as short-term current storage. The X-A600 powerfully amplifies the signal both under continuous load and during short dynamic peaks.
The X-P700 (The Preamplifier)
The X-P700 is a dual-mono preamplifier. You can expect:
- A pure Class A mode
- The PCM1796DB D/A converter from Texas Instruments
- A Phono Preamp
- Two headphone outputs driven by a matching headphone amplifier
- Analog RCA
- XLR inputs
- Digital coaxial and optical inputs
- USB ports
Let’s take a look at the CD Players from Advance Paris. The company debuted two CD players, the X-D500 EVO and the X-CD1000 EVO.
The X-D500 EVO
It is a pure drive that produces its signal only digitally – optical or coaxial. It also carries two toroidal transformers that are entirely different from the drive and thus do not influence it.
The X-CD1000 EVO
It features a D/A converter – a 192kHz/24-bit AD1955 from Analog Devices. It can also be fed externally and thus output the signal digitally via AES/EBU, coaxial and optical, and analog via RCA or XLR. Furthermore, it includes special bracing designed to improve signal purity.
The interior of the X-CD1000 EVO also features a large toroidal transformer and a tube output stage.
Pricing
Currently, you can find the two amps at their respective distributors. The X-P700 preamplifier retails at €1390, and the X-A600 power amplifier retails at €2890.
The CD players are also available at their respective distributors at the end of June 2022. The X-D500 EVO allegedly retails at €990, and the X-CD1000 EVO allegedly retails at €1290.
