Advance Paris announce new WTX-STREAM PRO

French Manufacturer, Advance Paris (who also own Advance Acoustic) has recently announced the latest edition to its streaming range, the WTX-StreamPro

Featuring a Wolfson WM8740 DAC, the WTX-StreamPro is an audio network player that can be used in either WiFi or wired mode and is compatible with Spotify, Qobuz, Tidal and Internet radio. It can access external storage files too.

The multi-room compatible WTX-StreamPro is also compatible with Airplay and DLNA, controlled via Advance Paris’ bespoke app, which is available on the iOS and Android app stores.

The WTX-StreamPro is equipped with an analogue, optical and coaxial digital outputs. Two stereo inputs are included, one for the Bluetooth X-FTB01 dongle (sold separately), auxiliary as well as a USB-A port for updating and reading USB drives or sticks. Spanning 42 x 131 x 113mm, the unit weighs in at 0.53kg.

The gem of the WTX-Stream9 is the incorporation of a Wolfson WM8740 converter. This DAC accepts 16 to 24-bit signals with a sampling rate up to 192kHz. Its signal-to-noise ratio of 120dB guarantees quality listening whether it is low or loud. Price is £299.
